DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From the EAST via New York State Thruway  (I-90):

• Get off at EXIT 45 (I-490 East, Rochester)
• Follow I-490 West signs toward downtown Rochester
• Get off at EXIT 18 (Route 31, Monroe Avenue)
• Turn RIGHT onto Monroe Ave. Stay next to the sidewalk and go to first traffic light (about 1/2 block and before the Hess gas station)
• Turn RIGHT onto Dartmouth Street. Be careful to take only a 45° turn because Canterbury Road also begins at this intersection
• Dartmouth House Is number 215, halfway down the first block on the left side, by the fourth lamppost. Look for the banner with a yellow pineapple and a green border hanging on the front porch of our 1905 English Tudor home.

From the SOUTH via (I-390):

• Get off at EXIT 15 (Rte. 590 North - Downtown Rochester)
• Follow Rte. 590 North signs toward Downtown Rochester
• Leave Rte. 590 at EXIT 5 (I-490 West - Downtown Rochester)
• Follow I-490 West toward Downtown. Get off at EXIT 18 (Route 31, Monroe Avenue)
• Turn RIGHT onto Monroe Ave. Stay next to the sidewalk and go to first traffic light (about 1/2 block and before the Hess gas station)
• Turn RIGHT onto Dartmouth Street. Be careful to take only a 45° turn because Canterbury Road also begins at this intersection

From the WEST via New York State Thruway  (I-90):

• Get off at EXIT 47 (I-490 East, Rochester) at Leroy, NY
• Follow I-490  East signs to Rochester
• Stay on I-490 East, go past downtown Rochester on your left
• Get off at EXIT 18 (Route 31, Monroe Avenue)
• Turn LEFT onto Monroe Ave. Cross over the expressway and immediately get into the right-hand lane. Go to the first traffic light (1/2 block and before the gas station)
• Turn RIGHT onto Dartmouth Street. Be careful to take a 45° angle turn because Canterbury Road also begins to your right at this light

From the GREATER ROCHESTER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

• Turn RIGHT on Brooks Avenue. Proceed about 1/4 mile to the Rte. 390 North ramp
• Turn LEFT onto the ramp and enter Rte. 390 northbound
• Turn RIGHT at the second exit - EXIT 20A (I-490 East, Rochester)
• Stay on I-490 East, go past downtown Rochester on your left
• Get off at EXIT 18 (Route 31, Monroe Avenue)
• Turn LEFT onto Monroe Ave. Cross over the expressway and immediately get into the right-hand lane. Go to the first traffic light (1/2 block and before the HESS station)
• Turn RIGHT onto Dartmouth Street. Be careful to take a 45° angle turn because Canterbury Road also begins to your right at this light

 
Dartmouth House (#215) is halfway down the block on left side (4th street lamp). Look for the pineapple banner displayed on front porch.
